AARP Tax-Aide program
Certified volunteer counselors will prepare your tax return and e-file both the federaql ans state returns for FREE! (Counselors do not request and may not accept payment, tips, donations, candy or cookies. You may, if you wish, give a donation to the Receptionist to help support the work of the Community Center.) ( Cookies, candy, etc. may be left to be placed in a common area to be shared with all who are interested!) All counselors have completed classroom, online and self-study training and passed a certification test (AARP and IRS).
Please call the Center (215.453.7027) to schedule your appointment. This service is available to all, not just members, the elderly, those with moderate income or local residents, though the counselors are not trained to process lengthy or complex returns. If you have questions please stop by the Center on a Tuesday or Thursday and speak with a counselor.
